CHANGE DNS-A RECORD

Please follow these instructions carefully to avoid errors or delays.

This form allows you to move your domain name to our nameservers and change the Address (A) entry in the DNS records file for your domain.

If you only want to set up your domain with a new web host, please click here to use our Change Web Host form instead.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

Please be very careful to enter your DNS changes accurately! These changes will be recognized by the Internet within 72 hours. If you make a mistake, your email and web services may become unavailable and it will take up to 72 more hours for any corrections to be recognized.

1. All fields in RED are required fields.
2. Enter the Domain Name(s) in Section 1 below. You can change up to 10 domains at one time. Make sure you include your domain extension. For example: yourname.com
3. Enter the new or changed subdomain in Section 2. For example:
   • * points all subdomains at the IP Address specified.
   • www points only www.yourname.com at the IP Address specified.
   • sub points only sub.yourname.com at the IP Address specified.
4. Enter the IP Address for this subdomain in Section 2. IP Addresses must be in the format: 123.123.123.123  There should be an operational server at this address, otherwise your domain will not work. If you want to delete an entry, simply enter "delete" instead of an IP Address.
5. Enter one of your RegistryWeb Invoice Numbers in Section 3. You will find this number on the invoice(s) you received when you originally registered your domain(s). This number is required to verify your identity. Click here if you have lost your Invoice Number.
6. Finally, when you are certain that all details are correct, click on the "Submit Request" button.
